This is my take on Black Shuck, the legendary demon dog. Of all the mythical creatures I know of, it's one of my favorites.
I painted everything in Photoshop, with each element on a different layer. Then I imported it all into Flash and animated it there.

That is one scary dog I sure wouldn't want to encounter or else I die from too much fright. We'll never know if the black dog is a tormented soul of a once lovable canine trying to find someone to help it be at peace, or if it is another demon in league with the Devil seeking the ruin of souls. Whichever it is, I still wouldn't want to encounter it.
